With over 15 years of international agency and corporate experience, Sonia Prashar is the definition of a media junkie. Always on top of the news, she provides insightful media relations strategies and generates impressive results for clients looking to raise their profile on local and national scales. One of her most notable campaigns is having planned and executed Bill Gates’s inaugural trip to India.

When not at work, Sonia sits on the board of MRP (Media Relations Rating Points) as a committee member and has also served the International Association of Business Communicators/Toronto (IABC) in the past few years as Director of Student Engagement and as Director of Sponsorships. Her dedication to the industry and fostering new talent recently earned her the recognition as the 2015 IABC/Toronto Mentor of the Year. Sonia graduated from Delhi University in India with a BA (Honours) in English Literature. She has a certificate in International Business & Marketing Strategy from the London School of Economics (UK), and has taken the Professional Course in Consumer Marketing at INSEAD France.
