Leah Kirkpatrick | Healthcare Communications

Leah’s passion for crafting great stories started early. She dreamed of being a writer, until her sixth-grade teacher proposed a more fitting career: PR. Leah went on to earn her post-graduate public relations degree from Humber College.

For 10 years, Leah has loved using her writing, editing and project-management skills to communicate with key audiences for the Children’s Aid Foundation and the Schizophrenia Society of Canada.

Most recently Leah collaborated with a network of over 200 world-renowned scientists at CAMH, one of the world’s leading research centres in mental health and addiction and Canada’s largest teaching hospital in these areas.

Leah transformed scientific data into engaging and accessible communications tools for CAMH audiences and the public. She focused on keeping the facts fascinating, and she loved every minute of it. Thanks for the advice, Mr. McKenna (sixth-grade teacher).
